Dr. Tavel Optical Group, a family-owned business operating 24 store locations across Indiana, is seeking a Lab Technician / Lens Inventory Associate. The Lab Technician / Lens Inventory Associate will be responsible for performing tasks related to lens inventory management and eyewear production. Dr. Tavel is committed to providing affordable and high-quality eye health services and eyewear to Indiana families and businesses, and the Lab Technician / Lens Inventory Associate is an integral part of this mission.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure that all eyewear production is consistent with quality control standards.
• Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and laws.
• Work closely with the lab team to meet production goals.
• Assist with other lab-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a laboratory and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of optical equipment and materials.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions.
