Med9Healthcare is excited to announce an open position for a Labor and Delivery Nurse. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and infants during one of the most critical moments in their lives. You will also be responsible for providing emotional support and educational resources to patients and their families. Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and progress of mothers and infants throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medication and assist with pain management
• Assist with c-sections and other medical procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients on prenatal and postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families

Requirements

• Active RN license and certification in Labor and Delivery Nursing
• At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse
• Knowledge of obstetric and neonatal medical terminology, procedures, and medications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients and families
