We are looking for a Land Planner to join our existing Land Planning team that works primarily with Land Development clients on master planned communities (MPC's), Planned Developments (PD's) or Site Development projects. This is an opportunity to continue to build your skills and grow with our expanding Land Development team working on land use planning, economic development, comprehensive planning, bicycle/pedestrian planning, or environmental planning projects. Quiddity is a 600+ person Civil Engineering consulting firm with 11 offices across Texas. We are ranked at #145 on ENR's Top 500 Design Firms across the US. This role is ideally located at our Katy, TX office or office in The Woodlands.
Responsibilities
- Works with Land Planning team, engineering teams, and other teams to create designs for land and site development plans
- Creates or reviews site plans, plats, and comprehensive plan amendments
- Researches covenants, laws and restrictions around zoning, rezoning, annexations, and other matters that may impact land planning
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and recommendations for new or revised land use policies and programs
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and landscape architects
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project manageme
Requirements - Bachelors degree in urban planning, landscape architecture, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in land planning, site planning, or a related field
- Experience with CAD design and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
