Job Summary

The Land Administrator will provide administrative and clerical support to the Site Acquisition team. This role will require maintaining, updating, and optimizing contract files related to Site Acquisition function. This role will work with various departments on contract administration. The role performs various data entry tasks and carries out general administration functions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of payment requests and contract reports for the site acquisition team.
  • Perform other administrative duties, including data gathering, spreadsheet preparation, file and database management, and document retention.
  • Assist in implementation of a land contract management system across the company portfolio.
  • Other duties and various data management tasks as assigned by Manager.
  • Learn company systems and maintain up to date reporting as necessary for greenfield and supplemental project acquisition.

Requirements

This role will maintain files related to Land Department functions, perform various data entry tasks, and carry out general administration functions as needed. This position should be flexible and capable of working in a dynamic team of professionals and should be familiar with land and lease management, basic legal contract parameters, and basic accounting principles. The right candidate will be a hands-on, hard-working team player. The Land Administrator role requires equally excellent communication and technical skills. A passion for land and renewable energy is a plus.

  • Educational backgrounds may vary for this role, as this potential candidate may come from a technology (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems) or Land (i.e. Real Estate, Law) background.
  • Proficiency in database management, design, and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong grasp of real estate contract terms and conditions and ability to quickly read and extract key provisions from land agreements and legal documents.
  • Familiarity with the various elements and phases of the solar project development process.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft platform- Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others and deliver results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi-task.
