An industry-leading client is immediately searching for a land surveying manager to join the team in the Valencia California office.

Responsibilities

• Being capable of making independent decisions regarding marketing, scoping, costing, supervising and managing of the projects.
• Ensuring compliance with all the laws and regulations including boundary calculations and legal issues.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and in budget
• Acts as the advisor to the land surveying team members
• Collaboration with principals, project managers, and clients to participate in project proposals and interviews as requested
• Have an understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Leading and directing of other team members.
• Reporting to a department or a head

Requirements

• A CA professional license for Land surveying
• Bachelors degree in then field or in related area
• 5-7 years experience in the field or related area
• Previous experience managing large projects or large tasks within projects
• Ability to manage projects and be able to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and self-motivation
• Having knowledge about conventional survey instrumentation, robotic total stations, GPS equipment and associated data collection applications is desired.
• Creativity and latitude is required
