Deans Lawn and Landscaping, (link removed), was incorporated in 1996 and has earned a solid reputation for being an award-winning landscaping, hardscaping, and outdoor living service provider throughout Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area. Our employees are all certified landscape designers and installers and certified chemical applicators who have decades of combined experience in managing all types of landscaping projects and landscape maintenance services. In addition, a garden center was added in 2004 specializing in trees, shrubs, and flowers as well as bulk landscape materials, and in 2019, services for pool installations. In nearly 30 years, we have become an expert landscape specialist company with an extensive group of highly satisfied clientele including homeowners, small businesses, and complex commercial businesses that require the most professional landscape design services.

We are actively searching for a Project Manager with a proven track record of success in managing multiple projects. The Project Manager is the primary driver and client liaison ensuring that we exceed client quality and service expectations while delivering their landscape project. This position is responsible for design build projects and managing all phases with our experienced crews. The Project Manager also serves as a Subject Matter Expert to sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining customer relationships to ensure all contractual obligations are met and ensure client satisfaction
  • Managing profitability of jobs
  • Effectively managing labor and equipment to effectively meet gross profit objectives
  • Motivate staff, maintain high employee morale and employee retention
  • Accountability to ensure safety is a top priority
  • History of independent performance with superior communication and attention to detail
  • Training, leading, and evaluating project team members
  • Helping to create and follow our annual financial plan

Requirements

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) applications
  • Able to work independently, communicate effectively, and adequately answer costumer questions
  • Motivated and energetic individual that needs to have the drive to develop relationships
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience is desired
  • Strong customer service and management skills

Benefits

This career opportunity offers a 60K-80K salary range. As well as other benefits such as company computer, 401K with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance.
