Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury cases and complex Real Estate litigation and appeals, including client intake, document organization, court filings, etc. to ensure that each firmwide case progresses smoothly through the legal process. Conduct thorough reviews of medical records and communicate with healthcare providers and insurance carriers to gather crucial evidence for personal injury cases in order to contribute to successful outcomes. Use e-discovery platforms for document review in connection with personal injury litigation and settlement discussions. Research certified legal databases, including Westlaw and LexisNexis and perform general case-management and legal research and analysis tasks. Maintain communication with firm attorneys and clients, such as providing updates on case progress and helping assist with legal needs to ensure clients and attorneys remain up-to-date with all matters affecting the cases status and/or outcome.
One (1) year of experience in job offered or one (1) year of legal research, legal analysis, and legal document preparation experience and a Bachelors degree in Law, Pre-law, Legal Administration or Criminal Justice.
