Insurer Consulting Group at Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in our Headquarters office.


Lead Product Development Specialist




What can you expect?

To take on Product Ownership/Management of already existing products, maintain them, troubleshoot, manage changes and enhancements in it from business requirements, through analysis to the implementation.
To liaise with management, IT, and third-party developers, on-shore and off-shore, on all steps of development: business & functional requirement, UAT and QA testing, Change Order creation, and coordinate deployment into production.
To collaborate with the other members of Marsh Insurers Consulting Group to identify business needs and data-based products and solutions that support and drive revenue growth.

We will count on you to:

Able to present and communicate clearly with parties on various levels: middle and upper management, analysts, developers/IT, external audience, product and leadership teams to influence the strategy of the product.
Be able to understand data, database relationships and mine databases for insights and analysis.
Be a team player and ready to roll up the sleeves and participate in any part of the product development, data analysis, programming or delivery.
Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions and product launches.
Be a self-starter, create innovative data products using R/R Shiny, Python, QlikView/QlikSense (or any other better suited technology) to enhance Data usage as part of Marsh Insurers Consulting Group.
Contribute to data and efficiency driven culture by conceiving and building Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Business Intelligence solutions.
Identify new technologies to integrate into existing solutions to expand our capabilities and differentiate the company in the competitive landscape.


What you need to have:

BA/BS or master's in computer science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or other technical field.
Expert user of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SQL, and familiarity with mainstream databases (ex. Oracle, Teradata).
Experience manipulating, summarizing data sets and computing comprehensive analysis in R/R Shiny and Python.
Strong analytic capabilities with the ability to conceive and build analytical application and data visualizations Proof of Concepts, in R and Python in python and R.
Ability to deliver key insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.


What makes you stand out?

Knowledge of Business intelligence tools such as: QlikView, MicroStrategy and/or Power BI
Being Data driven with the desire to learn and develop new skills/analytics techniques.
Knowledge of Machine Learning/AI algorithms in Python and R.
Familiarity with Data Lakes or AI tools (AWS Sagemaker).

The applicable base salary range for this role is $91,800 to $195,800.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
