Lead Security Architect Location: US-based Candidates Remote with some light travel Work Authorization: US Citizens, GC, GC EAD Our clients looking for a Lead Security Architect(link removed) As a Lead Security Architect, candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing security strategies for implementing Multi-Cloud Hybrid Platform SaaS-based products and solutions. Ideal candidate will work closely with Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams to solve complex security problems to enable innovative new products, and prototypes. As a Lead Security Architect, the candidate be trusted to understand security requirements of the software stack and service-oriented architecture, provide guidance on logical security controls that are manageable at scale. The candidate's leadership skills will influence the roadmap for future security technologies, while working alongside motivated engineers across the company. Skills and Qualifications Required - 8+ years ears of experience building, maintaining, and managing security aspects of large-scale distributed infrastructure and applications
- Strong experience in UNIX system administration and automation with an emphasis on security, security orchestration and automation (SOAR), Container and Cloud security
- Demonstrated threat modeling capabilities in networking, infrastructure, and applications as they impact the security posture of an organization
- Ability to build proof-of-concepts solutions, innovate, and partner with Engineering and Operations teams to drive adoption
- Red/Blue/Purple team assessments, security policy development, and audit automation
- Security tools rationalization assessment
- Penetration testing, proactive vulnerability management, and incident response services
- Experience with industry standard logging, monitoring, detect and response solutions (Splunk, Defender, eSentire, Alertlogic, etc.)
- Certification: CISSP, CEH
Nice to Have - Certification: CISM, CISA, NCSF, AWS Security/Solutions Architect
- Experience in Compliant cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OCI, Terraform, Kubernetes) specific to the NIST guidelines
- Leveraging advanced threat detection and response AI solutions
