Refinitiv US LLC (now part of LSEG) seeks Lead Software Engineer (New York, NY)

Job Duties: Architect and coordinate the implementation of components of various market data processing pipelines (processing, storage, retrieval, etc.).
Duties will include:
1. Develop software solutions using C++ (including coding, debugging, testing, and optimization)
2. Architect and implement software solutions for market data problems including capture, processing, storage, and retrieval in C++ and Python
3. Perform product planning including scheduling and technical decision-making
4. Provide expert-level advice regarding software engineering problems and practices
5. Delegate and manage direct reports in accomplishment of technical projects
6. Mentor and guide direct reports and otherwise including through participation in the broader C++ community (conferences and standards committee meetings)
May telecommute from commuting distance to New York City per company hybrid work policy.

All Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, followed by 5 years of professional experience in a software development-related occupation.
Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:
1) 5 years of experience working with C++
2) 5 years of experience working with financial technology and financial market data
3) 4 years of experience working as a technical manager
4) 5 years of experience working with software development toolchain technologies, including git and CI/CD
5) 5 years of experience with at least two C++ toolchains

Job Site: 28 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10005 (Full-Time).
Salary: $169,229/year to $356,119/year
