As a part of the claims advocacy team in Knowledge Services function of Marsh McLennan Global Services (MMGS), the colleague would support our Claims Advocacy stakeholders in the US region. The role will be based in MMGS Mumbai office at Hiranandani, Powai.
Our Claims Advocates support clients in a unique capacity while remaining focused on carrier/TPA limitations and concerns.

What can you expect:

An opportunity to work with one of the most dynamic claims teams, providing expert claims advocacy to clients and internal stakeholders
A wide spread and interesting role that will see you working with carriers/TPA and experts on complex insurance programmes and claim settlements of losses.
Partner/Collaborate with Blue[i] Claims Advocacy team on claims cases and ensure all the process and document related support are extended for a hassle free claim resolution.
Facilitate claims process for clients to ensure progress from notification through to closure.
Monitor insurer response and engage with insurers and their professional advisers to support smooth review of claims for clients.


We will count on you to:

Proactively review all claims (new and old) and establish a plan of action to achieve a favourable claims resolution
Gather necessary information and process requests (new losses and chasers) in a timely manner
Provide all necessary data/information to facilitate client meetings and claim reviews
Provide periodic status reports to account executives and claims managers
Set-up due reminders via Call and email to team members and clients
Communicate with clients, internal teams and relevant contacts within the market to ensure the successful settlement of claims across all relevant lines
Work with the wider claims team to ensure the effective handling, processing and filing of claims on market and internal systems.
Review claim decline that may be referred to Advocacy team
Manage client relationships from a claims perspective
Able to deliver high quality presentations.


What you need to have:

Experience in the General Insurance domain across different types of claims, claims lifecycle and claim data
Graduate or Masters in Commerce or Business Administration or any equivalent education programme in Insurance domain.
MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong Excel proficiency.
Strong verbal and written communication skills - excellent email writing skills.
Must be comfortable with working on new age data management tools
