Faith Child Care and Nursery School is an early learning/care program for children from 8 weeks - 12 years of age and has been providing full-day programming for over 30 years. It provides a high quality developmentally appropriate program and is Nationally Accredited. Potential candidates should be able to work M-F, up to 20-40 hours per week and possess the following qualifications:



• Associates degree or higher in early childhood education or a valid CDA or an Associates degree or higher in a related field

with at least 9 college credits in early childhood or child development

• experience or training in a preschool environment preferred

• positive, caring, patient manner

• strong verbal and written communication skills

• ability to collaborate with team members to develop program activities and complete individual child assessment and reports

• physical stamina and ability to regularly lift or carry children up to 40 pounds



All candidates will be required to complete a sworn statement indicating whether they have been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony, be cleared through the NYS Central Registry regarding any history of child abuse or neglect, provide proof of a current physical, be fingerprinted and have at least three reference checks.
