We are currently seeking a qualified Assistant Teachers and Lead Teachers to join our team! We are happy to be offering phone interviews at this time. Teachers are assigned a classroom that they manage in partnership with the other teacher(s)assigned to the classroom.
Duties:
- Develop daily activities to support the curriculum and educational objectives that provide children with opportunities for learning and growth through play
- Adhere to guidelines outlined in Teacher’s Manual pertaining to classroom management, family interactions, and child development.
- Maintain a positive, friendly attitude with families, and be a “team-mate” to parents in supporting their child’s growth
- Ensuring assigned classroom is well-maintained and clean
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with teachers, cooks, other floats, and administration to ensure a team environment is maintained
- Must fulfill required training requirements, and support Center objectives in achieving accreditation
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will truly love children and enjoy spending their time with children. Qualified candidates will fulfill the following required qualifications:
- Must be fluent in Spanish.
- Must be Lead Teacher qualified.
- Strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with families and co-workers.
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions without health restrictions. This includes the ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time, to have unrestricted use of the upper and lower body, hearing and vision within normal ranges to be able to adequately ensure the children’s safety, to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, to chase a fleeing child, to join children’s play actively, and the ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, and climb stairs.
- Provide a certificate of completion of an approved pediatric first aid and CPR training within 90 days of hire. Employees are responsible for renewing and maintaining a valid, current CPR and pediatric first aid certification at all times
- Must have a respect for diversity and recognize that diversity makes our program better
- Must have the ability to complete annual required trainings to ensure providing high-quality early education
- Must pass background study, fingerprinting, and e-verify

Pay and Schedule:
This is a full-time position that works Monday-Friday. The pay is based on experience and qualifications, and benefits include discounted childcare, paid training, medical and dental insurance, paternity leave, and two weeks paid time off (PTO) per year (PTO increases with service and caps at four weeks annually) and eleven paid holidays.
