Position: Learning Designer II

Role Summary

You will play a vital role in the creative development, enhancement, and continuous upkeep of training materials and content within our hybrid learning contact center environment. You'll be the go-to expert in designing virtual instructor-led, web-based, and eLearning experiences, both asynchronous and synchronous. Your efforts will contribute to providing our business partners with top-tier customer service, and you'll measure your success against the quality of training and key business performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough needs analyses, task analyses, content assessments, and instructional design to implement virtual instructor-led, web, and eLearning training and evaluate learner performance in a hybrid training setting.

Lead project planning for client and technology launches, collaborating closely with subject matter experts across the organization.

Oversee the design, development, and repurposing of content to create high-quality blended learning solutions and performance support materials, all rooted in Adult Learning and Instructional Design principles.

Innovate, recommend, and implement creative approaches to program design that enrich the learning experience.

Continuously assess the effectiveness of all learning materials across various delivery methods (web-based, instructor-led, eLearning, and more) and make necessary improvements.

Collaborate with our Client Services team and Clients on key business initiatives, such as new client launches, policy/process changes, and platform/system migrations. Partner with the training delivery team to develop curricula aligned with business objectives.

Contribute to our Learning vision, strategy, and goals, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.

Develop criterion testing to measure knowledge and performance, integrating them into eLearning deliverables.

Analyze complex content sources and create instructional content, including screen text, graphics, animations, simulations, and review questions.

Utilize graphic design skills to develop speculative artwork for eLearning proposal processes.

Review, revise, and deploy eLearning materials within a Learning Management System.

Apply various eLearning deliverable treatments to existing content.

Utilize contact center technology, nomenclature, and processes effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Virtual/Distance Education preferred, or equivalent training and/or work experience.

At least 6 months of experience in a contact center or related industry.

Proficiency in various eLearning content and design software tools. Experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise is preferred.

Skills in scripting/storyboarding, photography, image editing (and creating), video and audio production, and multimedia authoring are a plus.

Experience with Learning Management Systems (Saba/Cornerstone).

Preferred Experience In Training, Facilitation, And Presentation.

Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet use.

Ability to maintain productivity standards in a multitasking environment.

Must have the flexibility to work a varied schedule to accommodate various training needs and class schedules.

Additional Information

This position is remote with occasional travel (5%).
