Job Summary:

The L&D Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our organizations employees. This multifaceted role involves managing our Learning Management System (LMS), creating and curating content, and ensuring seamless content integration into the system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Learning Management System (LMS) Management

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the LMS, ensuring its functionality, accessibility, and user-friendliness.

Collaborate with IT and HR teams to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system integration with other tools.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and LMS best practices to optimize system functionality.

Content Development and Curation

Work as a member of the LMS committee to determine training priorities, resources, standards and course review.

Develop engaging and interactive learning materials, including eLearning modules, videos, quizzes, and other training resources.

Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and create relevant content.

Curate external learning resources, such as online courses, to supplement internal content offerings.

Content Loading and Management

Upload and organize training materials, courses, and resources within the LMS.

Ensure the content is tagged, categorized, and easily searchable for employees.

Regularly update and maintain content to reflect the most current information and training requirements.

Training Program Implementation

Monitor and track employee progress, completion rates and feedback within the LMS.

Provide regular reports and insights to measure the effectiveness of training programs.

User Support and Training

Offer guidance and support to employees, managers and stakeholders on LMS usage and training content.

Address user inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to the LMS and training materials.

Position is located at the Corporate office in Columbus, Ohio working 5 days a week in the office.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or related field. 4 to 6 years experience in managing a Learning Management System.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong instructional design and content development skills

Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools and multimedia content creation

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and self-motivated
