As
Legal Counsel employment law
you will be responsible for the juridical formulation of our employment conditions. In addition, you will give advice toSignifyorganizations in the field of employment law, in both individual and collective matters.
Within the HR department, there is a team dedicated to handling local HR matters. This team consist of various experts in the field of HR topics, such as HR Business Partners, Rewards partner, HR Advisors and Talent Acquisition.
In this independent role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic professionals. You will be reporting directly into our HR Business Partner/Head of HR of the Netherlands.

What you will do:

Within the negotiation delegation ofSignifyyou are primarily responsible for managing the legal portfolio. Drafting, changing and implementing CLA (CAO) proposals.
Monitoring (legislative) policies of the government in the field of employment conditions, in particular with regard to employment law and social insurance law, and making these transposable to the company.
Advising the HR function ofSignifyin the Netherlands in the field of employment law matters, in particular with regard to employment law matters such as dismissal cases and restructurings.
By means of giving training and presentations to the management and other HR-functions ofSignifyin the Netherlands, you will transfer your knowledge about the (new) labor laws and regulations within your field to the rest of the organization.
Signifyhas an agreement with a law firm for the settlement of individual dismissal cases. You are the linking pin betweenSignifyand this law firm.


Your qualifications:

Have a law degree of a University in The Netherlands (Dutch law)
Have approximately 10 years of working experience in the labor law field
Have thorough knowledge of- and experience with labor law
Have experience in negotiations with Unions / Works Councils
You are fluent on a professional level in
both English and Dutch

You are a strong communicator, practical and solution-oriented
