The Cardoza Law Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Legal Intake Specialist. As a Legal Intake Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our firm by ensuring that potential clients receive the necessary information and assistance during their initial consultation. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing compassionate and efficient service.
Your excellent communication skills, empathy, and ability to multitask will be essential in delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial consultations with potential clients to gather relevant information
- Assessing the viability of potential cases and determining their suitability for representation
- Managing and organizing client intake documents and files
- Providing accurate and detailed information about our firm's services and explaining the legal process to clients
- Scheduling appointments and following up with clients to gather missing information
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive client information
- Collaborating with attorneys and legal staff to ensure a seamless transition for clients who qualify for representation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or call center role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to empathize and connect with people from all walks of life
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and case management software
