A privately owned professional service company, located in South Bend, is looking to add a Level 1 Help Desk Technician to their team(link removed) This role will be work in the office one day a week.


Hours: 8a 5p, Monday - Friday
Location:
South Bend, one day a week; remote four days a week
Compensation DOE:
$40-45k, depending on experience & education and certifications.


The Level 1 Help Desk Technician will report to the Technical Support Manager and will be responsible for providing ongoing technical phone support to users.


Education/ Experience Requirements



  • 2+ years of help desk (level 1) or desktop support experience is required

  • Ability to diagnose networking, software, and other related issues

  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows & Windows Servers (2003 and newer) experience

  • Experience supporting Ethernet network topology, IP based networks including the internet access/connection.

  • Understanding of computer hardware/peripherals

  • Technical training and/or certifications is preferred
