Sick pay, and holiday pay for those who qualify Descriptions: -
Performs Stress analysis for Aircraft Primary Structures using Classical analysis methods and Finite Element (FE) methods, following industry standard calculation methods, both for Static (Strength & Stability) and Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis methods. -
Designs structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis. -
Perform analysis and assessment of structural repairs and modifications, assuring the structure maintains the required capability. -
Experience with Metallic and composite structural analysis methods. -
Prepare Stress Analysis Reports & develop analysis packages. Required Skills: -
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor). -
8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master+5 years' related work experience). Desired Skills: -
Experience with aircraft structural repair design and analysis (fuselage monocoque and wing experience especially) -
Experience with Boeing's structural analysis tools (e.g., CSW, DTANAL etc.,) is a plus. -
Experienced in technical writing. -
Good organizational skills are important (prioritizing multiple tasks and able to provide detailed status on work in progress, for example). -
Knowledge of repair concepts including repair station processes, component repair concepts, procedures, and warranty processes and contractual agreements.
