Licensed Clinician for DUI Court
The mission of the DUI Treatment Court is to enhance public safety and promote healthier lifestyles for repeat DUI offenders. The Court combines increased supervision and accountability with effective and intensive treatment, thereby reducing recidivism.
This is a post-conviction treatment program for those who have multiple violations of driving while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants. It is a part of the probation portion of a DUI Sentence.
The DUI Treatment Court Program is an interdisciplinary team approach involving the Judge, prosecutor, public defender or private defense attorney, case managers, probation, Marshal's department, program coordinator, and substance abuse treatment professionals. The team partners with the program participants throughout the process to ensure individual needs are met while restoring accountability.
Under the supervision of the Director of Judicial Services, the Fully Licensed Clinician will:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Individual counseling.
- Group counseling
- Court attendance.
- Other assigned duties
Requirements
Qualifications:
- COVID Vaccinated
- MUST HAVE A FULL LICENSE, (i.e. LMFT, LPC, LCSW)
- Demonstrate expertise and/or knowledge in mental health and substance abuse services and community resources.
- At least one year of post-masters experience providing mental health and/or substance abuse treatment.
- At least one year of case management experience in the community and/or the criminal justice system.
- Must have a current Georgia driver's license.
