Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Electrician to join our growing team. As the region's largest and most experienced solar design, engineering, and construction company, SES is proud to be at the forefront of the renewable energy industry. The Licensed Electrician will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of solar systems, ensuring that they are wired and connected safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations and maintenance for solar energy systems, including wiring, connecting inverters, and mounting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during the installation and maintenance process.
• Collaborate with solar engineers and project managers to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
• Conduct inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of electrical components.
• Coordinate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure efficient installation and operation.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• Valid and up-to-date electrician license.
• Proven experience in electrical installations, preferably in the solar industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and endurance to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with Tesla Powerwall systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
