We're looking for locksmith technicians to service commercial and residential customers. Candidate should be self-managed, motivated, and familiar with all types of locks, cylinders, locksmith equipment, and general locksmithing labor.

Requirements:

Experience performing standard, trade-related procedures.

General knowledge of trade-related methods, materials, tools, and equipment.

General knowledge of industrial/commercial locksmithing.

Experience operating key cutting and code cutting machines.

Knowledge of the use of proper tools and materials for service and repair of mechanical and electronic door locks.

General knowledge of locks, keys, opens locks of doors, filing cabinets, and key card/electric strike systems.

Familiar with electric locks.

Knowledge of removable cores.

Experience removing and aligning doors, and installing and adjusting door closers.

Experience replacing and re-keying locks as necessary.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this particular field.

Ability to work under general supervision.

Good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Repair, service, and adjust all types of doors, such as hollow metal and aluminum storefront doors.

Make emergency repairs to lock systems as necessary.

Service, adjust, and replace all types of door closures.

Service, repair, and install exit devices, panic hardware, coordinators, and other door-related hardware.

Determine the correct lock system to be installed at a variety of facilities.

Estimate time and material costs on proposed projects.

Record keeping (filing) and purchasing of necessary equipment and parts.

Maintaining stock/inventory of all locksmith supplies and hardware.

Work in a team environment and independently.
