POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for performing Ultrasound procedures for use by physicians in the diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organs. Receives direction from: Ultrasound Coordinator, Radiology Manager.
SHIFT: Day shift, Monday - Friday with rotating Weeknight/Weekend CallMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: RDMS Registered or Registry Eligible. 1 or more years' experience required. Vascular experience strongly preferred. Working experience with Ultrasound Machines. Working experience with Oxygen Tanks
.LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration or eligibility required - Current State Licensure required. CPR Certification.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Working knowledge of Ultrasound procedures and protocols. Working knowledge of Ultrasound equipment and safety hazards. Able to concentrate and pay close attention to details when performing Ultrasound exams. Knowledge of all aspects of Ultrasound to include Abdomen, Pelvis, Breast, Vascular, and pediatric scanning. Computer and office equipment.
