Location: Buchannan/28th
Pay: $19.00-$20.00/hr
Whats needed to be a Machine Operator?
- Machine Operators will need good standing tenure at current or past positions.
- Ability to convert and understand both standard and metric units of measure.
- Follow daily production schedules and understand work orders.
- Ability to problem solve work related problems individually and work as a team to solve higher level problems.
- Complete documentation correctly in a timely manner
- Accurately read and use a tape measure and calipers.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Ability to recognize and discern materials.
- Machine Operators will need to read and understand blueprints and schematics as required for each product to meet customer quality needs and expectations.
Requirements
Quality/Housekeeping/Safety Expectations for Machine Operators:
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and quality to ensure all products meet work order requirements.
- Machine Operators will be required to keep their stations and work areas clean and clear of debris, slip, and trip hazards.
- Utilizes Lock Out Tag Out at all appropriate times.
- Weekly deep clean of equipment and department
- Peer quality checks throughout shift
