We are currently seeking various Machine/Equipment Operating professionals. The company is a worldwide supplier to aircraft manufacturers and has served the aircraft industry for decades. Working location: Canton,GA and Ball Ground, GA - 1st Shift - 6a-6p M-TH or TH-SUN - $20+ per hour
- 3rd Shift - 6p-6a M-TH or TH-SUN - $22+ per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Exercise and promote safety
- Read and understand hard card, Fill out hard card with accuracy
- Understand required tools and how to use them
- Inspect material, Load and unload oven cart, understand how to use the transfer cart system, understand how to move the carts in and out of the oven with or without a load, understand how to use the TC wire
- Set oven parameters in accordance with alloy temper requirements
- Operate ovens with understanding of how to restart ovens after a power outage
- Monitor operations of age cycles, Perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, Rack and unrack product, Rack and unrack product, Document work on Age Oven logs
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum Experience: 6+ Months Warehouse or equivalent work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Communication Skills: Ability to effectively listen and communicate ideas and thoughts to others; able to assimilate ideas originated by others
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to carry out and communicate written and/or oral instructions
- Physical Abilities: Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands; must be able to lift 50 pounds at any time during his/her shift; the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
