JBK Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery to produce precision parts for JBKs wide range of products.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machinery including mills and lathes to perform machining operations according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Load raw materials into machines and secure workpieces using appropriate fixtures or clamping devices.
Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced to the required dimensions and quality standards.
Perform regular maintenance tasks on CNC machines including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged tooling.
Understanding of machining coordinates and preforming CNC machine tool offsets.
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications.
Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or aerospace industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

2nd Shift 415pm-215am

Overtime

Monday- Friday

Salary: $23.00-$26.00

Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour extra.
