Vadatech Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join the team due to business growth.
Responsibitlites:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring.
- inspect and repair of any structural damage to windows, doors, and keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced.
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed, included but not limited to:
Basic set up and clean up tasks
Drywall repair, texture matching
Lock set changes or installs
Painting, caulking, grout repairs and sealing
Repairs and installs several fixtures i.e., cabinets
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Previous experience of 2-4 years maximum as part of a facilities team, maintenance technician or as a handyman
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Experience with the use of hand and power tools
- Advanced knowledge of most repairs
- Self-driven and able to collaborate with others
- Ability to speak, write and read in English
