Maintenance Engineer Job Description:

Maintenance engineers are responsible for the installation and maintenance in the manufacturing industry, And need to attend the routine issues at on-site to resolve.

Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance

Responding to the breakdowns

Maintaining statistical and financial records

Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.

Removing old equipment and installing new machines and Parts.

Providing technical support and training on new equipment to supporting staff.

Attending with emergency problems and repairs.

Inspecting machines and updating the checklist on day to day

Statutory Compliance requirements & Reports Generation.

Support Preventive Maintenance initiatives to achieve a plant facility.

Ensure documentation and systems work order/PO processes etc to be maintained.

Completes all routine maintenance activities associated with the fire protection system/Electrical Dept including conducting annual inspections and testing of the system

Performs miscellaneous minor repairs

Follow ups with the service vendors Attending review meetings with the reporting heads

Computer skills of mail drafting, word, excel data reports preparation etc
