Maintenance Head - CNC, PLC, automobile For Vadodara
Job Title: Maintenance Head
Job Profile: The Maintenance Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance activities in an organization, with a focus on electrical, mechanical, CNC, PLC, automobile machine shop maintenance, and related areas. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage a large team.
Location: Vadodara, India
Experience: 15-20 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and supervise a large team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
2.Maintenance Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate maintenance performance and make data-driven decisions.
3.Electrical, Mechanical, CNC, PLC, and Automobile Machine Shop Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, CNC machines, PLC systems, and automotive machine shop equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks or equipment repairs.
4.Budgeting and Resource Management:
Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.
Optimize the utilization of resources, including manpower, tools, spare parts, and equipment, to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and implement cost-saving initiatives.
5.Continuous Improvement and Reliability:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes and practices.
Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles to enhance equipment reliability and reduce breakdowns.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience of 15-20 years in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, CNC, PLC, and automobile machine shop maintenance practices.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a large team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control.
Familiarity with safety regulations and standards
