Key Responsibilities: - Lead and inspire a team of skilled maintenance technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime, minimize downtime, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of production machinery and equipment, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing effective corrective measures.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities, aligning with production schedules to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including equipment repairs, maintenance costs, and spare parts inventory.
- Proactively source and evaluate vendors, negotiate service contracts, and ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment to support maintenance needs.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements, implementing relevant advancements and ensuring compliance within the maintenance department.
Qualifications and Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of success in a leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably within the food industry.
- Extensive technical knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, encompassing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, with exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and engage a diverse team of maintenance professionals.
