We are currently in need of a Highly-Skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician with our Global food Production Company in Akron, Ohio. You should have 2 to 4 years of Industrial Electrical and Mechanical maintenance experience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery

Position: Maintenance Mechanic / Technician

Location: Akron, Ohio

Salary: Commensurate with experience

 

This is a full-time permanent position that includes a sign-on bonus, a very competitive starting salary, Plus OT Hours, Health Insurance and Full Benefits.

The position involves performing regular and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, analysis and repair of assets and related components pertaining to salt production, packaging and transfer as well as general plant functioning. Maintenance of equipment utilizing various predictive and preventative tools is also required.

 

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.


• Associates Degree (AA) in a Technical Maintenance field is strongly preferred, or Journeymen Certification


• 2 to 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.


• Ability to pass basic electrical and mechanical maintenance tests as part of the interview process.


• Ability to read and write English, work overtime, and operate heavy machinery.


• Basic computer skills.


• Able to perform maintenance trades including electrical, machinist, rigging systems, welding, pipefitting, and fabrication, pumps and piping systems, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, mechanical maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic.


• Experience with SAP and/or an HMI.


• Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment and/or packaging machinery
