Banyan Living, a leading multi-family property management company, is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech for their property in Stow, Ohio. As a Maintenance Tech, you will play an essential role in ensuring that the property is well-maintained and efficient. You will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, responding to work orders, and identifying and addressing any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a variety of trades, possess excellent communication skills and be customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the property is in excellent condition
• Respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Conduct routine inspections and identify any maintenance issues that require attention
• Keep accurate maintenance records and ensure that equipment and materials are properly stored
• Communicate effectively with residents, property management and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance position
• Proficient in various trades including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if needed
