Position Description

• Provide support to production by performing preventive and corrective repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment. Core responsibilities: Follow all safety rules.
• Assist engineering with technical problem solving. Assist with technical training. Perform preventive maintenance on production related equipment. Troubleshoot and repair machinery using technical manuals, blue prints, electrical schematics, and programmable logic controllers. Install and maintain a wide variety of production related machinery using ordinary and specialized tools andinstruments.
• Document all work performed in the Maintenance Data System.
• Assist with the training of technical personnel in job reated duties. Assist engineering with long range problem solving. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Other duties as assigned.
• Skills Required Ability to read electrical and mechanical blue prints and schematics Ability to troubleshoot pneumatics and hydraulics Positive attitude to support company policies and must be able to create and maintain a high-morale environment. Must be able to safely operate motorized equipment. Good written and oral communication skills. Able to perform multiple tasks and prioritize duties as required. Able to work a 12-hour shift on feet with potential overtime Ability to frequently lift 40 lbs. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and utilize independent judment.

Experience Required

• 5 years of general work experience in this field, with minimum of 2 years of specific experience to this position in similar industrial maintenance or construction trades.

Education Required

• high school diploma.

Education Preferred

• Knowledge of Robotics a plus CNC machining equipment experience a plus
