Summary: To maintain a safe, functional, physical environment for patients, employees and guests.

*Pay Range: $20/hr. to $25/hr.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in addition to On Call as needed

Responsibilities:

• General building repair and maintenance.
• Grounds maintenance.
• Routine plumbing and electrical.
• Prepare facility for special functions, including setting up tables, chairs and equipment.
• Respond in a timely manner to alarms and codes.
• Facility cleaning.
• Complies with facility safety, infection control and security program.

MACHINES, TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED ON JOB:

• MACHINES: Skill Saw, Drill Press, Belt Grinder, Key Cutter, Air Compressor, Power Washer, Leaf Blower, Reciprocating Saw, Routers, Power Planer, Metal Detector, Power Sander, Solder Iron, Brazing Equipment, Electrical Welder, Heat Gun And Office Equipment (Printers, Faxes and Copiers).

• TOOLS: Dollies, Hand Truck, Carts, Screwdrivers, Channel Locks, Hammers, Needle Nose Pliers, Pliers, Wrenches, Ladders, Painting Equipment, Drywall Equipment, Power Tools, Crow Bar, Breaker Bar, Nut Drivers (and Specialty Tool), Circuit Tracer, Volt Meter, (Voice, Data and Video Toner), Plungers, Auger and Pool Cleaning Tools.

• MATERIALS: Lights, Ballasts, Baseboards, Caulking, Aerosols, Fuels (Propane, Diesel and Gasoline), Oils, Grease, Solvents, Oxygen, Fire Extinguishers, Door Locks, Door Closures (and Hardware), Telephones (and Associated Hardware), Spill Kits, Nuts, Bolts, Anchors (Drywall, Concrete, etc.), Cables (Data, Voice, Electrical, etc.).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB:

Climbing, ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps using feet, legs, hands and arms.

Work is considered to be heavy, and requires exerting in excess of 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects in a manner of force, lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move said objects.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• General experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air conditioning with experience in repair and maintenance.
