Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician Level II will be responsible the inspection and repair of the functional Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems on a portfolio of residential homes in the area assigned. This position will be certified and skilled at the repair of residential major service systems (MEP’s) and capable of utilizing company issued equipment to diagnose and repair complex issues related to such systems. They will also use mobile technologies to perform inspections and documentation of repairs.
Essential Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with vendors and residents
- Courteous and prompt communication with team members and management
- Troubleshoot and repair Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems
- Replace circuit breakers and repair electrical systems
- Consistently maintain a clean work environment
- Manage and update timesheets, work orders and inventory documentation correctly
- Accurately utilize technology (inventory tracking system, company vehicles, etc.)
- Drive productivity and continuous improvement for maintenance service delivery
Qualifications
- Federal/State certifications for associated trade skill
- Skilled in repair and maintenance of HVAC and other residential systems
- Must have computer and smart phone experience
- Ability to work on-call and overtime hours as needed
- Ability to correspond (in writing and verbally) effectively with team members and vendors
- Preform property inspections using mobile technologies
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Skilled in installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential systems and common household features including Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing
- Utilize powered and non-powered tools to complete repairs
- Lift over 50 lbs as part of daily function
- NATE HVAC certification is required
- EPA 608 Certification for Refrigerant Management is required
- Must be able to work in environmentally and physically challenging working
