$29.00 /Hour
Second Shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM - Work on weekends with two days off during the week.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the integrity of equipment and perform timely repairs.
Effectively support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program to reduce unscheduled downtime.
Analyze problems and interpret technical information to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and validate completed work.
Maintain safety by adhering to company policies, including safety rules, procedures, and Lock-out/Tag-out protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), personal safety standards, food safety standards, and OSHA standards.
Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and all plant electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, instrumentation, distribution, and feed control systems, and develop sustainable solutions.
Complete assigned work orders within specified timeframes.
Maintain comprehensive records of work using software, work orders, and detailed logs, and communicate effectively across all departments.
Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups, addressing issues as needed.
Identify required parts and manage current inventories and parts reorder lists.
Ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and contribute suggestions for process improvement.
Physical Requirements:

The following physical demands are associated with this position:

Ability to lift 50-80 lbs.
Performing highly repetitive motions, standing for eight or more hours, talking, and hearing.
Climbing ladders, stairways, using a manlift/scissorlift at ceiling heights with proper safety equipment, and working in a non-air-conditioned environment.
Frequent walking, using hands to feel or handle, reaching with hands and arms, and occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Exposure to oils, greases, coolants, wet and/or humid conditions, high and precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme heat, and vibration.
Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Boiler experience is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments, pneumatic hydraulic systems, and low/high 3-phase and 110v electrical systems.
Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus.
