Maintenance & Reliability Engineer - $100-110K – Chemicals Manufacturing - Develop, execute and manage maintenance and improvement activities aimed at maintaining/improving asset availability and reliability. Restore equipment to base condition, inherent levels of reliability and safety when deterioration occurs. Continuously improve the maintenance operating system (MOS). Identify the most cost-effective and applicable maintenance techniques to minimize the risk and impact of failure in facility equipment and systems. Provide engineering support to maintenance and operations teams. Obtain the information necessary for design improvement for equipment and systems where inherent reliability is inadequate. Perform technical analysis, testing, calculations, and evaluation of results to improve equipment and system reliability, safety and sustainability at minimum total cost. Excellent high desert/mountainous location for the outdoors type, about one hour from Bakersfield, CA



BS in mechanical engineering and 5 to 10 years of experience in an industrial environment with at least 5 years maintenance and/or reliability experience. Have a solid understanding of production processes, mechanical engineering practices and field applications and basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) field applications. Experienced with CMMS and work order systems. Six Sigma experience is a plus. PE is a plus. Knowledge of metallurgy is a plus
