KCH Transportation, a leading logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Manager, Business Development. With 6 offices strategically located across Atlanta, GA, Augusta, GA, Chattanooga, TN, Nashville, TN, Tampa, FL, and Dallas, TX, KCH Transportation has established a strong foothold in the industry by delivering safe, reliable, and exceptional domestic transportation services.

As the Manager, Business Development, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of KCH Transportation. Leveraging your expertise in logistics and supply chain, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and maximizing revenue for the company. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain industry
• Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share
• Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and potential areas for business growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of client engagements
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to prospective clients
• Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to drive profitable business deals
• Meet and exceed sales targets, consistently striving for growth and expansion

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related working experience
• Proven experience in business development within the logistics and supply chain industry
• Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, freight forwarding, and warehousing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships
• Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a track record of successful sales achievements
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
• Proactive and self-motivated individual, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
