SUMMARY
The FP&A Manager, under the leadership of the Senior Director, Accounting and Finance will support the efforts to increase the profitability of GSFS finance and insurance (F&I) products and services provided to automobile dealers. The Manager will 1) provide insightful financial analysis to stakeholders, 2) partner with business leaders to recommend actions to improve spend control and profitability, 3) oversee the development of various financial plans and budgets for GSFSGroup, 4) develop and build systems capabilities to enable outcomes, and 5) prepare required ad-hoc reports and analytics.
The Manager also will take action to enhance cross-functional coordination, education and expand internal communications in GSFS and broader Friedkin Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage G&A expenses and headcount and collaborate with functional leaders across the journey of actuals to forecasting.
Partner across the organization to educate and engage stakeholders on performance improvement initiatives.
Participate in developing, building, and maintaining technology systems and implementing business process changes necessary to enable analytics and reporting.
Manage sales commission analysis, review, and payment processes.
Develop and enhance financial forecasting and budgeting models and support transaction sub systems as needed.
Plays a leadership role in building and consolidating budgets and forecasts and preparing presentations for executive leadership.
Provide financial business review updates to give leaders insight into business performance.
Coordinates data requirements, prepares analysis and recommendations for various company programs.
Stay informed on technical insurance matters and the interpretation of authoritative Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and statutory accounting pronouncements; convert knowledge to ensure accurate income statement interpretation.
Assists with audit schedules, tax schedules, and regulatory filings as needed during peak reporting periods.
Be a strong influencer within the Accounting and Finance organization to improve productivity and performance.
Collaborate with key associates within the Friedkin Group. Be a liaison between the business unit managers and corporate.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; plus, five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrate financial planning and coordination skills.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions.
Demonstrate team building mindset to foster collaboration, trust, and accountability among team members and stakeholders.
Demonstrate financial planning and coordination skills to manage budgets, forecast, and financial reports.
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of GAAP and SAP (Statutory Accounting Principles) and applicable federal, state laws and regulations pertaining to GSFS F&I products.
Demonstrate knowledge of GSFS Finance and Insurance (F&I) products.
Demonstrate strong computer and software applications skills (Excel, PowerBI, PowerPivot, Tableau, AX Dynamic, and / or other applications).
Is customer and dealer focused.
Is able to promote, coordinate, and support change.
Is able to communicate effectively - express ideas and facts to individuals or groups effectively, makes clear and convincing oral presentations, listens to others, and facilitate an open exchange of ideas.
Understand GSFS financial and productivity measures.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS*
Has a valid driver's license. Certified Public Accounting license preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday; and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.

TRAVEL REQUIRED
Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 10% of the time and on a domestic basis).
