Manager, Financial Applications (MDC Corporate US, Inc.) (New York, NY): Assisting in the preparation of financial reports that highlight the financial and operational results of the Company's various partner agencies, including identifying key variances, trends, and operating metrics; Working closely with partner agencies and senior executives during Monthly Results, Quarterly Forecasting, and Annual Budget meetings by consolidating financials and performing key analysis of financial and operating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and trends; Assisting in creating new financial reports that enhance analyses to provide scalable financial insights for senior management and key stakeholders at the partner agencies; Partnering with Mergers and Acquisitions ("M&A") team to provide support, including upfront business transition/integration post-closing of an acquisition; Assisting in the management of the Company's financial operating model and M&A payment calculations under the supervision of senior leadership; Contributing to the financial and operational due diligence process of acquisition targets as necessary; Helping lead continual process improvement as it related to financial reporting, analysis, and system management; and Assisting with ad hoc financial data analysis projects as requested by management and senior leadership. Must have the following skills and experience in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Extensive experience writing Visual Basic for Application, Python, R, and SQL; Extensive experience with accounting principles; Ability to manage different personalities in a team; Advanced Excel and Access skills to create reporting dashboards and models as well as to manipulate data; Understanding of financial concepts required to create financial models; Proficiency in designing and maintaining relational databases using tools such as SSIS and SSMS; Working knowledge of EPM/ERP systems; and Ability to independently analyze information and propose resolutions. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or related field and at least 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or related field. Option to work from home may be available. Travel may be required: 5% within New York City and Washington, D.C. Salary: $143,125.00 -$150,000.00/year.
