Role

As the Manager- GTM/Sales Strategy & Launch you will be part of the EV Business Development and Sales Strategy function of Global business and will report to the Head of EV Business Development and Sales Strategy (link removed) The purpose of your role will be to chart out a clear Sales strategy for the financial year, identification of opportunities for EVs in global markets, creation of a complete end-to-end GTM plans in existing markets & new markets with electric vehicles.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Charting out a clear Sales strategy for the financial year
  • Identification of opportunities for EVs in global markets, creation of a complete end-to-end GTM plan in existing markets & new markets
  • Creation of business case for electric vehicle business
  • Responsible for product comparison, price positioning, price recommendations and holistic proposal of product/Pricing & Distribution
  • Lead various research projects related to consumers, products & be responsible for deriving key insights with respect to electric vehicles
A Day in the life

As the Manager- GTM/Sales Strategy & Launch you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy & business strategy for growth for along with curating he GTM strategy for entering into new/existing markets with electric vehicles.

Academic Qualification & Experience

BE + MBA/PGDM from Tier I/II Institute

8-10 years of experience in 2W industry out of which 2 years in the role of Sales Strategy is preferable

Technical Skills/Knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of the global automotive landscape
  • Knowledge of Market Research, Brand Management, Retail Finance, Network Development, After Sales business
  • Good understating of financials metrics, business plans
  • Knowledge of Commercials, Incoterms, Documentation, Legal, Homologation
  • Project Management (especially in CKD & Manufacturing JV scenarios)
  • Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C modes of sales
Behavioural Skills
  • Ability to work across CFTs
  • Business Acumen, good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complex situations
  • Out of the box thinker, innovator
  • Creative and a team player
