Summary Position Summary Manager Global Employer Services Technology Center Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (Deloitte Tax in India) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (Deloitte Tax) U.S. service lines and regions have obtained support services through Deloitte Tax in India. We provide support through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace. We offer a broad range of fully integrated tax services by combining technology and tax technical resources to uncover insights and smarter solutions for navigating an increasingly complex global environment. Are you ready to take the next step in your career to find new methods and processes to assist clients in improving their tax operations using new technologies If. the answer is Yes, come join Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) Job purpose: This position will work within our user experience horizontal on our Design System and Accessibility Team. As part of this team, you will collaborate with internal product teams and external stakeholders to drive the strategy and adoption of our Design System as well as lead designers to develop web and mobile application user interfaces. You will also lead efforts to ensure our technology is built in a digitally accessible manner in accordance with WCAG AA 2.1 standards. Key job responsibilities include the following: Use your expertise to extract business and technical requirements and work with designer(s) to develop innovative, high-quality flows and wireframes for web/mobile applications Lead/manage a team of UI/UX designers and facilitate the design process by collaborating with product management and engineering teams Lead efforts to maintain our Design System with regularly scheduled updates and in accordance with WCAG AA 2.1 accessibility standards Oversee the development of prototypes, review and validate designs with stakeholders in order to improve the user experience of new and existing products Collaborate with teammates and internal stakeholders to drive adoption and usage of our Design System and ensure documentation within the Design System is up-to-date and easy to use Serve as an SME on user interface design and stay up-to-date with latest trends Successfully work with developers, project managers, and other internal teams to optimize processes for user-centered design thinking Present mock-ups, wireframes, concepts, prototypes and final designs to stakeholders and internal teams Work on several projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines Provide regular progress updates and status to the management Ability to innovate and visualize simple, intuitive experiences based on complex requirements Ability to communicate detailed design specs to internal teams Personal Characteristics: Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to manage junior team members to deliver high quality work products Self-starter with solid analytical and problem-solving skills High level of attention to detail, ability to execute and deliver high quality project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment Ability to think analytically for issue/problem resolution Ability to integrate rapidly with existing team Good organizational/planning and execution skills Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization Strong work ethics & commitment to client service excellence Education/Background: College coursework: B.Des / B.E / B.Tech Key Skills Required Bachelors Degree in Design and/or any industry recognized UI/UX professional certification 5-7 years of experience as a UX/UI designer with a minimum 1-2 years as a UX manager A portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered product design solutions Demonstrated experience of working on Design Systems in the past An innate capacity for creating engaging, highly usable designs and layouts Ability to oversee the development of wireframes and mockups in a fast-paced environment and comfortable guiding teams to build designs without all the product details Experience working with Figma or any other equivalent UX design tools Preferrable but not required: experience working with ZeroHeight How Youll Grow At Deloitte, weve invested a great deal to create a rich environment in which our professionals can grow.
