Accounting Manager

 

• Report to the Controller, plan, schedules and direct cash, accounts receivable and accounts payable areas and assist the Controller in managing the daily operation of the accounting department.


• Directly supervises a staff of 5 in accounts receivable and oversees a staff of 3 in accounts payable, monitoring the workload and approving overtime as necessary.


• Prepare and complete monthly accounts receivable account analysis and reviews the detail aging to identify the problem areas for necessary course of action.


• Assist the Controller in the month-end processing, including the generation of monthly summary and detailed reports.


• Review and approve all accounts payable vouchers for proper coding and completeness of supporting documentation.


• Coordinated all information systems operation, including EDI operation.


• Meet monthly with Sales and Warehouse Managers to discuss related concerns and simplify the departmental relations.


• Assist the Controller with year-end physical inventory counts as well as year-end closing and prepare the financial statements to be submitted to the CPA.


• Manage the information systems, including the server, stations, and the networking software, the accounting software and troubleshooting

Education:

BS Degree in Accounting or equivalent years work experience
