Job Description:

Role: Manager of Financial Systems

Location: Brooklyn, New York

Job type: FTE

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to analyze business processes, identify functional and technical requirements, and design solutions leveraging the capabilities and functionality of NetSuite and other technologies/automation, as needed, to drive operational efficiencies


• Develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations and scripts to automate processes and workflows


• Enablement of NetSuite environment to utilize standard and repeatable reporting practices


• Design, build, and maintain custom searches, reports and objects within NetSuite


• Creation and maintenance of user guides, manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key NetSuite supported processes


• Design and maintenance of NetSuite security environment & documentation, including roles, SoD and restricted access. Support for security testing as needed Master data strategy, design, configuration and maintenance


• Be the point of contact for administering key finance / ERP systems (primarily NetSuite) and manage integrations with related third-party applications, specifically Rights Management tools


• Manage support and maintenance of NetSuite and other finance automation tools by monitoring, troubleshooting, and correcting production issues


• License administration and input to accounting leadership for NetSuite usage and relationship management


• Manage rollouts of process and tool changes by initiating proactive communication with impacted users and by providing user training and support to business partners in Finance & Accounting as appropriate

Required experience/Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management Information Systems


• NetSuite experience required - lead system design, implementer and/or administrator role


• CPA preferred, but not required


• A minimum of 7 years of experience, 5 of which in a lead system design, implementer and/or administrator role


• Relevant industry experience, including integration of industry specific third-party tools (Rights Management)
