Manufacturing Associate

Your role:

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that Ardent Mills products meet our customers' requirements at the end of the milling process by learning the basics of flour milling and cross-training in at one or more work stations in the business.

Your responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate equipment and systems.


• Routine cleaning of floors, equipment, roofs and outside grounds.


• Specialized cleaning tasks such as bin cleanings, sifter maintenance, and filter sock changes.


• Basic process maintenance.


• Get cross-trained in at least one different work station across the facility.


• Responsible for understanding and following all personnel and equipment safety policies; Sanitation policies; following all Business Unit policies and procedures.


• Other job tasks and functions as assigned by management.

Essential skills and experience:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.


• Strong reading comprehension, writing, and math skills.


• Proficient in computer tools including email and spreadsheets.


• Proficient in English both written and verbally.

Good to have:

• At least one year operating mobile equipment including forklift, bobcat, or Track Mobile.

Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.


• Able to work in a dusty environment and wear respiratory protection.


• Able to climb stairs through the work day.


• Able to stand through the entire work day.

 Other considerations:

• Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team.


• Must be willing and able to work 1st (7:00-3:00), 2nd (3:00-11:00), 3rd (11:00-7:00), 12-Hour shifts, weekends, Holidays, 7-day weeks, and opposing shifts when needed.


• Must be willing to get cross-trained in at least one other position for development within the facility and to provide any relief duties as needed.
