Description:
Today we continue to innovate, learn, and grow with our consumers, customers, and most importantly with our employees. We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role will report to the Senior Manufacturing Manager to lead dispensing equipment production and after sales services at our contract manufacturers in Appleton, WI and Guadalajara ,MX.
Responsibilities:
Participate in design reviews and support new product launches.
Provide DFx feedbacks to NPI manager and escalate as necessary.
Provide subassembly level DFM and DFA feedbacks in early development phases to simplify design and minimize tooling cost.
Collaborate with Engineering team on DFM implementation.
Understand system level tolerance stack up.
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods.
Identify value engineering opportunities early in the process to reduce cost.
Work closely with key suppliers for subassemblies to identify and develop fixtures / jigs to simplify assembly processes and to ensure quality control.
Validate subassembly level inspections and ensure critical dimensions identified in subassembly level is aligned with system level specification.
Address quality issues back to suppliers and set / review production yields, and other KPIs.
Evaluate supplier quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.
Drive corrective actions and failure analysis efforts during early development.
Ability to travel internationally 25%-50% of the time.

Education / Qualification:
Bachelor of Industrial Engineering or related field
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred
Fluent in Spanish a plus

Experience
Minimum of 7-10 years relevant work experience
Experience with the following
CAD or CAM software
APQP, PPAP and manufacturing operations
System integration with electromechanical systems
Kaizen events, Lean Manufacturing, and Line balancing
Mechanical fabricated parts, adhesives, metal forming, foaming, casting, welding and understanding of precision level and tolerancing for key fabrication processes.
Basic knowledge of HTML, Javascript, Typescript, JSON
