Based in sunny Tampa, FL - we're seeking an experienced Process Manufacturing Engineer on a W2 contract basis.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new product development projects
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Conduct process capability studies and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and process flow diagrams
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure quality standards are met
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) of products and manage inventory levels
  • Provide technical support to production teams and troubleshoot process issues
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives and manage budgets for assigned projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in design and build product development, ideally within aerospace
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships
  • Knowledge of ITAR and DFAR regulations
  • Experience with Catia, Visio, and Solidworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
