As a Manufacturing Production Associate, you will be part of a team responsible for the safe, productive operation of a market leading company’s innovative facility.



Ensinger, Inc. processes high performance engineering plastics in our manufacturing facility at our North American headquarters in North Strabane Township. Ensinger serves a growing market for engineering plastics by combining our processing and extrusion expertise with a deep knowledge of high performance polymers and applications. Used in a broad spectrum of industries, our products provide our customers with a variety of options as they push the envelope in innovation and part design.



Located in Washington County since 1985, Ensigner has grown year over year and is preparing for a bright future with a second facility currently under construction in North Strabane.



Key Responsibilities




  • Promote safe work practices and demonstrate a zero tolerance for non-compliance with safe work practices

  • Work as team to safely meet or exceed production targets and goals

  • Support the care and maintenance of all equipment and systems in safe operating condition

  • Encourage innovation to enhance safety, efficiency and effectiveness

  • Identify opportunities for improvement

  • Support continuous improvement projects



Qualifications




  • High school diploma or equivalent, advanced applicable technical education, a plus

  • Demonstrated effective communication skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Use of power tools, calipers and previous experience in a manufacturing environment, a plus

  • Ability to learn and operate computer based manufacturing related systems

  • Working knowledge of computer software including Excel and Word, a plus

  • Willingness to work a rotating, continuous operating schedule based on 12-hour shifts. The schedule affords every other weekend off, while averaging 3.5 shifts per week.
