Full-Time Market Development Manager



Who You Are:

You are passionate about driving sales for the leading robotic vacuum brand in your market and helping customers save time and make their lives easier. You are a storyteller that likes to explain the nuances that a product carries and how it can benefit peoples’ lives.  You like to partner with our clients to deliver exceptional results and work to enhance daily retail performance. You are inquisitive and curious while you learn and share marketing information in your field and market. You have excellent communication and technical skills. Your 2+ years’ experience in retail sales and self-motivating personality will help you succeed managing your market with independence. 



Your Next Challenge:




  • Train, develop, and educate retail sales specialists on the feature benefits of client's products

  • Sells, demonstrates and promotes client's products in retail stores

  • Builds brand awareness and presence at retail in your assigned market

  • Collects and reports on in-store activities, assisted sales programs, and competitive information to grow your market and the brand

  • Gathers, summarizes, and reports out on field and channel feedback and insights on a daily and weekly basis

  • Prepares merchandise in retail locations with visual displays and in-store promotional material. Oftentimes sets up and troubleshoot visual merchandising

  • Coordinates and executes special awareness and sales events at retail locations

  • Position will work retail store hours including weekends up to 75%; 80% of time spent in retail stores training, merchandising and demoing products




What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree: emphasis in business, marketing, or communications preferred

  • Knowledge in home appliance and electronics strongly preferred

  • Sales experience highly desirable, 2 years minimum experience

  • Ability to build strong partnerships will be pivotal in the success of this role

  • Must be able to implement and trouble shoot visual merchandising

  • Thorough understanding of the retail space and visual merchandising in retail sales environment 

  • Must have the ability to educate and communicate product knowledge through excellent presentation skills

  • Excellent communications skills required in order to build strong, collaborative partnerships

  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality that is a self-starter and can work with minimal direct supervision

  • Strong persuasive skills that can effectively shift sales decisions

  • Must have the ability to motivate, influence and promote client's products to the consumers at the retail level

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • reliable transportation is REQUIRED to transport merchandise to retailers

  • Access to the internet is REQUIRED

  • Candidate must be able to lift 75 lbs with the ability to move, install, and/or setup product as needed in stores or for special events and trainings
