Marketing Content Developer (Palo Alto, CA)

We are looking for a Marketing Content Developer for a global philanthropic foundation. In
this role, you will develop thought leadership content, be the storyteller for the foundation's grantees'
work. You will be responsible for creating the content to advance the foundation's image, build
awareness, and help to grow the network to promote the work of the grantees.

This is a 40 hr/wk, 6 month contract to potentially perm role. This is a hybrid role in Palo Alto, CA (2-3 days per week onsite).

This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K offered.

Responsibilities:

Develop thought leadership content for the foundation's executives: Speeches and "op-ed" writing. This content will promote the work that is being done by the foundation and its grantees.
Develop content that aligns with the foundation's identity and is focused on growing the network and building the audiences, including financial and non-financial supporters, partners, media, and funders (VC, government, corporate and public).
Work with foundation's grantees to develop stories that showcase their work. This content will include short and long form content, and introductions to videos.
Partner with Social Media manager to publish content to a variety of social media platforms

Requirements:

5+ years experience with content development for non-profits, foundations, or governments.
Experience with speech writing, journalism, op-ed, or feature writing experience
Passion for non-profits and their work to change the world
Bachelor's Degree

Compensation: $62/hr - $65/hr
